First Attempt at Gal Makeup ♥

Apparently I make decisions very quickly. I ordered new makeup to help me make a decision as to whether or not I want to try out gal, but before my new makeup could even make it out of the warehouse I decided "screw it, I'm gonna be gyaru!". I really want to commit, and since I had a free schedule today I figured I'd try out gyaru makeup. While I think I did pretty well for a first try (which is why I'm posting it instead of deleting the photos and raging around my house), there are some pretty vital mistakes. My eyebrows are in some dire need of attention and are amazingly bushy, and my hair is not styled at all. I'm going in to have my hair done probably on Thursday. Anyway, here are the pictures!

None of these are shopped, I figured that would be bad when asking for critiquing.

I'm still practicing putting on and concealing eyelashes.

My camera sucks.

I used the "voluminous" eyelashes from eBay. They turned out to be really easy to put on, I think because they're so long and easy to grasp. As a bonus the cheap little bottle of glue that came with it turned out to be better than the glue I bought separately, lol. I think it's actually supposed to be used as double eyelid glue, but if stuck super well. I tried using half of the more natural looking lashes I bought as lowers, but it didn't look quite right. I'm not sure if it was me, the lashes, or the shape of my eyes so I think some more experimentation with that will be good. I'd also like to try a slight drooping effect, but that's really the only skill I flat out can't execute yet. I would like to make the makeup a little heavier looking, right now it seems more "Gal inspired" than gal.

I can't wait for my pink blush, I think it will bring it all together nicely. 

 Anyway, anyone who reads this post is welcome to give me critiques! This is my first attempt so any advice is welcome!

Oh! Since I've finally started losing weight I bought my first purse since I was in middle school! Here it is.

I think it looks really good in person, but I realized that since I used to carry animal backpacks I don't carry much, lol. Whatever, I'll adapt.
