I like Rokku too much (SUPER IMAGE HEAVY)

I started to like gyaru again because of the sweet styles, but I can't help but feel attracted to more rokku styles. I don't know what exactly the style I want to do is called, but I can tell that it won't be sweet gyaru or gyaru-kei like I originally planned. Plus I have so many things from when I was into gothic lolita (a very short, expensive phase), I keep finding them and remembering how much I love them. Sweet styles are great, I really do love them, but I think that rokku is where my heart is. It's not like rokku can't also be cute, right? My current style ispiration is Risa. She doesn't really put herself in a box with her style, it seems very fluid and stays really cute no matter what.

I've been looking at clothes on Rakuten, because I think my wardrobe is really far behind when it comes to any other gyaru improvement I've made. It's what made me realize how I want to dress, I tried looking at cutesy stuff but it just doesn't appeal to me as much.

Clair Beauty Wig Review!

Hello! Today my post is going to be an in-depth review of my brand new wig from Clair Beauty. These wigs can be purchased on yesstyle where what seems to be their whole catalog is available, but they can also be found on eBay being for much less. I'm not sure about every seller, of course, but I did purchase my wig from this shop and I am very happy with my product and the delivery.

Dates are my favorite thing.

Hello, this post will be pretty image heavy. My term just ended and I absolutely hated this class, so I've been really stressed and busy. I'm really trying not to neglect this blog, but time keeps slipping away from me. Anyway, the boyfriend and I have been going out a lot, I think because he knew how much I was struggling with this last term. We went to see Chronicle, which was amazing, went to see Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 3D, which I did not care for, and of course we went out for Valentine's Day!

For the first two dates I actually did my makeup as full-out as possible, but on V-day since it was sort of just an "us" day I went simple.
My skin has been awful lately, I think because of the stress.
At some point during our date binge, we finally tried the Japanese style crepe stand in our mall. Now we're addicted to UniCone. Originally, when we went to see Star Wars we were just going on a crepe run, but Zach really wanted to see it so I caved.

I'm not sure how common these stands are, apparently they're gaining some popularity.

Guess what came in the mail!

My wig! I promised not to talk about it anymore until I actually got it, so here's my post. I ended up going for a completely different wig from what I originally planned, I got some really mixed reviews and personal account related to Gothic Lolita wigs, they took forever to restock, and I decided that I could probably find a wig that would go better with my style that was cheaper without sacrificing quality.
I checked out a Clair Beauty seller on eBay and decided this wig would be perfect for me.

I found a lot of good reviews for not only Clair Beauty, but this specific eBay seller, so I gave it a shot. The shipping was economy so the seller said that it would take up to two weeks, but surprisingly it only took about eight days to get here. I had to sign for it, since it was shipped from Taiwan, but since I take night classes it was fine.

I got a job!

Well, not really. I've been working really hard, and struggling a bit at school but I decided I just need to bake more so I feel more comfortable. As a result of that, I've decided to horde spare cake bits to make cake pops, and my mom told one of her co-workers who wants to buy some from me for her son's class bakesale!

I'm a little intimidated, but cake pops are easy enough to make and it's a bit of a long term job and it will  be good practice for the future. Not to mention I love making this sort of thing and I love making things for kids! The first date I need them for is February 10th. I was already going to make cake pops for my boyfriend, so I'll make the same Valentine's day themed ones for the bakesale, too. There are six dates she wants pops for and I'm going to make 2 dozen for each one, so that's 144 total. I'm really excited and I'm working on planning the themes for each week including Easter (it's a Christian private school). This weekend I'm going to go price my materials (sticks, candy melts, styrafoam, delivery boxes) so I know how much to charge.
