Amazing Customer Service and Overpriced Lashes

This will just be a quick post, I lent my camera to a family member for the weekend and my phone's camera is terrible so I'm mostly pulling things off of my computer.

Anyway, since I'm 18 now and trying to get my stuff together I recently applied for a debit card. I do have to admit that this is less about being responsible and more about being able to buy whatever I want online... But whatever, two birds one stone, right? So I signed up for BECU (look it up if you're in western Washington) and after two agonizing weeks I finally got my card. The first thing I wanted to buy was a pair of these amazing and extremely popular lenses designed by Tsubasa Masuwaka

For anyone who doesn't know, this series is the "Geo Princess Mimi/Bambi Series" They're incredibly beautiful, and most of them are 15mm making them very enlarging. But, unfortunately I found out from my boyfriend that to activate my card I needed to make a purchase of at least $5, so we went to a beauty supply store so I could, in my own words "buy something I actually need".

Pink Lips and Smooth Skin by Covergirl Queen Collection.

Lately I've been completely obsessed with pink lips, you see it on a lot of celebrities (Katy Perry, Rihanna, Nikki Minaj etc.) and you think "hey, why can't I try that?" but alas, I have had bad experience with lipstick. The only time I've worn it was when it was mandatory during a cheer competition or dance recital, and I always dreaded putting it on. Bright lipstick is hard to find for dark skin, so I was hesitant.

I did a lot of research and found out a lot about how undertones really factor in not only when it comes to your lips, but the actual lisptick. I have fairly pink lips, so I'm lucky in that regard, but being the extremeley cheap person that I am, I didn't want to pay for something super pigmented from say, MAC or Shiseido that may end up not even working and costing me 15 to 30 bucks.

Low and behold,  during my search for lipstick, I also happened across some cheap foundation in the same collection, so here is a review of my finds. Let's start with the foundation, I bought it in "Rich Mink" it's the second darkest shade.

Allow me to introduce myself!

You can call me Chanda, I am an 18 year old living in Seattle and my passions include Makeup, Fashion, Food, Animals, and Gaming. I started this blog after feeling the need to share not only personal details of my life, but also the fun aspects with as many people as possible, you might call me a narcissist.

In this blog I will be doing a lot of reviews, they will mostly be on restaurants and beauty products, but if I find anything else that I find interesting I'll pass the word along as well.

To get an idea of what kinds of products I'll be reviewing, I'd like to mention that a lot of my inspiration in life, fashion, and beauty come from Japan and Korea. I follow many gyaru blogs and while I don't think I will ever have the commitment or money it takes to be gyaru, I do go for the look as a sort of model for my style.

I really hope I can spark some people's interest and maybe even be of some help. So wish me luck and cut me some slack if I turn out to be awful at this (;_;)
